Visual artist and musician Vinyl Williams has previously applied his extraordinary talents unique creative vision to virtual musical video for the likes of Tears For Fears, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Morgan Delt. Exceeding our subsequently high expectations, Williams takes us on a ride in the trippy accompanying video for his immersive new tune 'Mithras'. Part video game, part theme park ride and part psychedelic light show, the kaleidoscopic clip enriches the eclectic sonic palette of the track. Moving through changes in pace and feeling, John Frusciante-esque guitar work darts around a heavily involved bass line and propulsive drums, before giving way to more spaced out interludes. Lifted from his forthcoming full length release Azure (due out on the 5th of June via Requiem Pour Un Twister), 'Mithras' welcomes you in to the colourful inner-workings of Williams' mind. -Holly Mullineaux
